Premier ER accepts all commercial insurances.  We collect an insurance copay at the time of service, and the emergency claims are submitted to your insurance carrier. In the state of Texas, the Texas Department of Insurance has declared under Insurance Code Section 1301.155 that all individuals who seek emergency care must be reimbursed by their insurance company regardless of whether that facility is “in-network” or “out-of-network."

In addition to our Urgent Care, Premier is also a freestanding emergency medical care facility. Premier charges rates comparable to a hospital emergency room and may charge a facility fee. Facility and physicians providing medical care at the facility are not a participating provider in the patient's health benefit plan provider network. Premier physicians providing medical care at the facility may bill separately from the facility for the medical care provided to a patient.
